Rojinegros 3 - 7 Sandwich (389951958)

M. Majasalmi caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 2 minutes. This gave Rojinegros the 1 - 0 lead. 4 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as B. Brainich struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when K. Nederbeck was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 13 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! 1 - 2 was the score with 20 minutes played, after E. Frelich cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Sandwich. M. Kusmanto showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 28 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Sandwich had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

J. Quintupran couldn't do anything to stop the technically gifted H. Cuesta as he dodged past on his way to scoring a wonderful goal for Sandwich - 2 - 3! Sandwich increased their lead after 57 minutes when M. Koplík broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. V. Matila was called on to replace Rojinegros's M. Kusmanto after 60 minutes following a nasty collision. The home crowd was not impressed when K. Nederbeck came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 62 minutes. Sandwich were now up 2 - 5. V. Flø of Rojinegros was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Rojinegros needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes A. Soto made way for R. Pigniczki. After 71 minutes of play, Sandwich's E. Molinari unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and R. Gil slotted it into the net for 2 - 6. After 73 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed R. Gil to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 2 - 7. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Sandwich lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A marvellous Rojinegros effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 78 minutes by K. Flachner, making the score 3 - 7. The Sandwich players could smell victory in the air. H. Cuesta wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Díaz after 80 minutes. Rojinegros's K. Flachner got himself booked for a foul. There was concern in the stands when, at the 82 minute mark, Rojinegros's K. Flachner hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Sandwich enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Most important Rojinegros player was K. Flachner. On the other hand, V. Matila's play was disheartening. The most dominating Sandwich player was without a doubt R. Gil. K. Nederbeck turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 7.
