The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 24660 had shown up at Vandit F.C. Arena for the match. Gukkin was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 33 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Azmodeo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

L. Arıca wanted to play on, but the Azmodeo coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by A. Halldórsson. T. Locher was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Azmodeo's Ş. Stanciu managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 0 - 2 Y. Vanoirbeek fired a shot from distance after 75 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Azmodeo. R. Słupianek got a fingertip on Y. Vanoirbeek's shot from the left 82 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Given a free kick close to the byline, Azmodeo tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let M. Goblirsch slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 3, 83 minutes into the game. Confident in their lead, Azmodeo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. vandit had a brilliant opportunity to reply as B. Naudi received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only D. Siveri's reflexes saved him. With 85 minutes gone, M. Annunziata suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Azmodeo caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. Possession in this half belonged to Azmodeo, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

P. Hliník performed admirably for vandit. V. Duval turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Azmodeo player was without a doubt Y. Vanoirbeek. However, Ş. Stanciu made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 3.
