12000 fans braved the pouring rain at Vizarretea. Dario Vallone was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Antonello Cividino and Francis Widiantoro. Viza started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Fragoso - Calderón, Escalera, Cereceda, Eraso - Alvarado, Clary, Villaverde, Islas - Nando, Landeros.

TUZOS decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. They fielded: Maureta - Cantoral, Caballero, Aguilar, Espejel - Juárez, Lemus, Soto Ruiz, Herrera - Navarrete, Arenas.

The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but M. Landeros showed great heart and had a good game. With 18 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as T. Clary flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Viza's I. Villaverde increasing the lead to 2 - 0. After 26 minutes, S. Nando put Viza ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. With 28 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by Viza's T. Islas reached S. Nando's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 4 - 0. The players of Viza now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Viza scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for H. Escalera after 29 minutes. Halftime score was 5 - 0. Viza claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

Viza's I. Cereceda increased the lead to 6 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 52 minutes. S. Calderón increased the lead for Viza to 7 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Viza had to make a substitution after 77 minutes. M. Landeros limped off the field and was replaced by J. Ceballos. The referee showed Viza's I. Cereceda the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Cheers filled the stadium as S. Calderón broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 0 to Viza. Viza enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

Most important Viza player was S. Nando. P. Fragoso was a disappointment, however. TUZOS's top performer was clearly F. Cantoral. A. Maureta turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
