Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Frankiefurt. After 2 minutes, E. Jokimies came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Cool the lead. M. Mouhu's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 21 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to K. Braddy who knocked it in for Frankiefurt. 1 - 1! The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to B. Szűcs, but the Cool player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! E. Jokimies could have increased the lead after 29 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 38 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as R. Ångblad broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Cool. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Cool claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

With 61 minutes played, Cool's S. Gripengren almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. 75 minutes into the game, K. Flynn finished off a Frankiefurt left wing counterattack, making the score 3 - 2. 77 minutes in, Frankiefurt's D. Hillier received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. With clinical precision, the cross from winger F. Free found its way to B. Laviosa's head, and a screaming header gave Frankiefurt the goal after 78 minutes played. 3 - 3 It wasn't a good day at all for D. Hillier. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. Making his way up the middle 87 minutes into the match, J. Harris almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert S. Watson blocked it to keep the score level. Cool made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left R. Ångblad completely alone with keeper S. Watson, who made a spectacular block. Cool enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Cool's top performer was clearly E. Jokimies. J. Aspenborg turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Frankiefurt player was without a doubt B. Laviosa. E. Chirnside was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
