Kershaw, who made a spectacular block. Geordios took the lead after 25 minutes as a result of P. Kavooris's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. M. Ruiz of Geordios seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by S. Ellard. 33 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Egli broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Geordios. With 35 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Wandsworth resulted in a counterattack that set G. Comine free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Geordios had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Geordios coach let M. Grunze replace T. Tenshin after 46 minutes. Geordios put themselves up 4 - 0 when P. Kavooris broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. A penalty 80 minutes into the game gave the home side a chance at adding to the score, but an overconfident S. Ellard shot the ball wide trying to put it away in the top corner. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Geordios, with 71 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Geordios player was without a doubt A. Koroza. R. Tienza was a disappointment, however. Wandsworth's top performer was clearly J. Edwards. J. Rocker on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
