A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 46784 to Nursing Home. Paolo Maaskant was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hubert Zeier and Mátyás Madaras. Cigarra finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Fogrigg had to make a substitution after 36 minutes. R. Knorr limped off the field and was replaced by J. O'Moore. With 37 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed T. Hazım of Fogrigg to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Fogrigg were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. There was concern in the stands when, at the 38 minute mark, OAPs's A. Harkrader hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. O. Gallagher's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Fogrigg enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the OAPs manager used a brief break in play after 46 minutes to give the players new directives. The OAPs players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. OAPs's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 51 minutes into the match as M. Sincler ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 3. After 53 minutes, the defensive line of OAPs created a counterattack through the middle that gave 温. 宽筏 (Kuanfa) a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. R. Lust made a nice dash down the wing after 57 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. OAPs's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. OAPs's M. Pintu got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 2 - 3. M. Sincler made a quick rush after 74 minutes, but S. Cigarra had no problems keeping up the pace and stopped the attack. M. Thurfoot charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for OAPs, but the shot went well wide of the goal. OAPs's G. Kilgallon refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 82 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Fogrigg, with 56 percent of the ball.

The most dominating OAPs player was without a doubt M. Sincler. J. Standish turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Fogrigg player was S. Ambler. On the other hand, J. O'Moore's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 3.
