Jesters clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Many thought K. Tuama ought to have been awarded a penalty 7 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around J. Hoare after a determined run through the middle. The referee showed Jesters's D. Pimont the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 18 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Wizaaards to take the lead after a good cross from the right found P. Ölind alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Jesters mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 24 minutes, but K. Aşikar was unable to convert from short range. Jesters's K. Droux's long shot really ought to have found the net 25 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. Wizaaards's J. Daniele refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 37 minutes. They were singing the praises of F. Olărescu 40 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Wizaaards. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Wizaaards enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.

L. Rotthier unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Jesters's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! I. Joki-Erkkilä's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. B. Anderson left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. C. Connolly was the replacement. J. Daniele became the new Wizaaards captain. M. Silfwerwald made a nice dash down the wing after 76 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. The home side's F. Olărescu came close to extending the lead 82 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Hoare managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Jesters were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 83 minutes, I. Joki-Erkkilä swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 1 - 1. 84 minutes into the game, Wizaaards wanted to bring some new energy to their game. E. Kronholt gave A. Pagodeiro a quick hug as he left the field. Priding himself in being an active coach, the Wizaaards manager gave new instructions to his players after 84 minutes. After 84 minutes, the Wizaaards coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. After 85 minutes of play, L. Rotthier gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Wizaaards's A. Magalhães Rodrigues left the field after 86 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was L. Frizon. With 87 minutes played, Wizaaards's A. Pagodeiro almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Wizaaards's L. Rotthier increasing the lead to 3 - 1. Wizaaards claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 87 percent.

Most important Wizaaards player was L. Rotthier. A. Pagodeiro was a disappointment, however. Jesters's best player was M. Nicula. D. Pimont turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
