Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. 2ballab's G. Vilkelis was shown a yellow card after 31 minutes for slicing down an opponent. C. Pistone of FC INTER had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. G. Newton came in to finish the match. After 33 minutes, FC INTER's M. Malaguti swiftly ran past M. Hapnes and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 0. FC INTER's V. Oncu somehow missed a penalty 38 minutes into the match, much to the crowd's displeasure. M. Hapnes hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving 2ballab's W. Gheyle an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 1. 40 minutes into the match, the FC INTER manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to FC INTER, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

55 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a FC INTER substitution. A. Helísek came on for R. Dorren. R. Brousset was the new captain of FC INTER - handed the armband by the departing player. After 60 minutes, the 2ballab coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving G. Vilkelis off the field. B. Good work by the 2ballab defensive line after 78 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found B. La Rana alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. FC INTER had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

M. Malaguti performed admirably for FC INTER. However, A. Helísek made a disastrous appearance. 2ballab's top performer was clearly C. Jemahl. J. Lobo on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.
