Annaberg scored for Veteranas putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 11 minutes. Veteranas were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 22 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by P. Vedenpää. 2 - 0 for the home side. Veteranas put themselves up 3 - 0 when M. Annaberg broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Veteranas's M. Annaberg had an excellent opportunity after 32 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! It was 3 - 0 at the break. Veteranas claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

M. Annaberg increased the lead for Veteranas to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! By then M. Annaberg had scored three goals - a hat trick! Veteranas put in a good effort on the right, but M. Annaberg saw his volley fly wide of the mark 67 minutes into the game. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why M. Junkkari found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Veteranas's M. Junkkari saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 79 minutes. After 84 minutes, O. Ribeiro put Veteranas ahead 5 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The players of Veteranas now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Ž. Džaković found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. L. Tabberer of shavas was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Veteranas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

Veteranas's top performer was clearly M. Annaberg. However, G. Vercraeye made a disastrous appearance. A. Zijlstra performed admirably for shavas. S. Hausemer turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
