It was obvious that Raiders were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. Wartham took the lead 2 minutes in, as F. Greenhalgh broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Wartham put themselves up 2 - 0 when R. Guilpain broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The Raiders players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. Sensing defeat in the air, the Raiders manager directed C. Martí and S. Hjortshøj to change positions with each other. This was 19 minutes into the match. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Wartham's F. Leverd somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for R. Guilpain, who struck for 3 - 0. The home team's fans were upset when, after 30 minutes, the visiting C. Martí broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 3 - 1 was the score. After 40 minutes, F. Leverd put Wartham ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 4 - 1 was the score after the first half. Wartham had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

F. Greenhalgh increased the lead for Wartham to 5 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Wartham to 6 - 1 as F. Leverd finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After this, you could see that the players of Wartham were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Wartham managed to extend their lead to 7 - 1 when J. Power cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. F. Greenhalgh of Wartham was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The pressing tactics used by Raiders were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Wartham claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

The most dominating Wartham player was without a doubt J. Power. B. Herbuś turned in a dismal performance, however. Raiders's top performer was clearly G. Landray. A. Sánchez was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 1.
