After 53 minutes of play, Bunners's C. Willis unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and S. Spengler slotted it into the net for 2 - 2. D. Taylor of Alonsos received a yellow card after 55 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Bunners took the lead after 57 minutes as a result of R. Quaid's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 3 - 2. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Bunners's R. Stanwick increasing the lead to 4 - 2. With 73 minutes played, Bunners put themselves up 5 - 2 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to G. Kelly, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bunners, with 58 percent of the ball.

Bunners's top performer was clearly R. Corcoran. E. Eastwood on the other hand, had a terrible day. D. Taylor performed admirably for Alonsos. On the other hand, B. Chiasson's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 2.
