Athletico's J. Sternal gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 15 minutes with a superb strike from the right. R. Beedie's lightning pace was too much for E. Burgstaller-Bodingba who could only look on as the xxLOLxx player blasted one home. 1 - 1. 1 - 2 was the score with 23 minutes played, after D. Lagomarsini cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Athletico. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, V. Gualdi got himself booked. The manager of Athletico was not happy. E. Burgstaller-Bodingba received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 33 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Athletico fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 40 minutes, Athletico's D. Lagomarsini burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. The Athletico players could smell victory in the air. T. Kärrskog wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Holdert after 41 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Athletico coach let C. Mathiasson replace V. Gualdi after 41 minutes. 1 - 4 was the halftime score. Athletico enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 82 percent of possession.

The cannonball from 35 metres by J. Dorenga of Athletico was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. xxLOLxx had to make a substitution after 59 minutes. J. Seaman limped off the field and was replaced by S. Chandler. A drive down the left side allowed A. Kraicbergs to get in close and score another goal for Athletico after 68 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 5. With 70 minutes played, Athletico put themselves up 1 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Holdert. E. Burgstaller-Bodingba increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 7. The players of Athletico now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. xxLOLxx's D. Schneider left the field after 73 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was R. Styles. 80 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 8 as D. Lagomarsini finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At that, D. Lagomarsini was noted down for a hat trick! Athletico had most of the ball, with 79 percent of possession.

The most dominating xxLOLxx player was without a doubt R. Beedie. A. Musgrave turned in a dismal performance, however. Athletico's best player was D. Lagomarsini. A. Holdert was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 8.
