The manager of Roycroft was not happy. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Unwritten, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

J. Edgar's speed was almost enough to give Roycroft a goal after 50 minutes, but his nice pass to R. Mallett was not taken care of properly. Roycroft's I. Creech had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 71 minutes having been played. M. Bondi was the replacement. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 74 minutes into the match, and A. Schuler was able to score, taking the scoreline to 1 - 1. After 82 minutes, Roycroft sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached A. Campbell, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 2. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

Unwritten's best player was A. Barratt. M. Taves was a disappointment, however. Roycroft's top performer was clearly B. Scullion. However, J. Dixon made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
