Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 11720 at Village Nomads Arena today. Juan José Zarandona was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ola Söderström and Şeyhmuz Özkutay. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Village. At the beginning of the game, Chilton appeared to have already taken this victory to the bank. Chilton used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Rein of Chilton received a yellow card after 18 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Chilton were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. A. Rein received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 21 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Chilton fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, Chilton's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 23 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. Bourne who increased Chilton's lead to 0 - 3. After 25 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. Dyjak a chance to increase the lead for Chilton, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Chilton, who controlled the ball 85 percent of the time.

Chilton's F. Bourne was shown a yellow card after 47 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The visitors' J. Badger took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 59 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Chilton. After 68 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed S. Dyjak to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 6. With 69 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed N. Harper of Chilton to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 7. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Chilton's L. Lowden somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for P. Kenzelmann, who struck for 0 - 8. Some fine movement on the left led to a Chilton goal after 80 minutes, making it 0 - 9. S. Dyjak was noted down as the scorer. By then S. Dyjak had scored three goals - a hat trick! After 81 minutes, Chilton's J. Badger burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 10. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Chilton, with 89 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Village player was without a doubt F. Butt. On the other hand, F. Chopra's play was disheartening. Most important Chilton player was S. Dyjak. However, B. Detter made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 10.
