Rubbish had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Cheers filled the stadium as Y. Rhonheimer broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Rubbish. Confident in their lead, Rubbish's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 23 minutes, Rubbish's P. Caldarulo found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 3 - 0. After 25 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by P. Caldarulo might have resulted in another goal for Rubbish. However, D. Margolis made a spectacular save. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Rubbish claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 79 percent.

60 minutes in, Rubbish's N. Bin-Hamdan received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 64 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to champion's F. Wasti being carried off the pitch and replaced by G. Smith. P. Caldarulo increased Rubbish's lead to 4 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. 75 minutes into the match, P. Caldarulo could have extended the lead, but his powerful free kick went just over the bar. E. James enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Rubbish put themselves up 5 - 0 when A. Seuna broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rubbish, with 84 percent of the ball.

Rubbish's top performer was clearly S. Cousido. L. Minarelli turned in a dismal performance, however. S. Henson performed admirably for champion. On the other hand, D. Margolis's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 0.
