Brough saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 12 minutes. With 27 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after P. Schuler came through the middle, but his kick went wide. S. Khokhar made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. The score became 2 - 0 at 34 minutes into the game, when england were given a penalty which P. Hosie blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Team's S. Khokhar was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. england's C. Brough had an excellent opportunity after 37 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. england enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

After 54 minutes, P. Hosie put england ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The referee showed Team's R. De Larre the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. england were forced into a substitution as B. Miller couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing R. Morley to come in off the bench. The crowd roared its approval when G. Revell somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Team's W. Jenas 63 minutes into the game. england put in a good effort on the right, but P. Hosie saw his volley fly wide of the mark 70 minutes into the game. D. Parker had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper G. Revell was simply unbeatable. With 73 minutes played, D. Cook could have brought this one home for england as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Team almost scored after a counterattack 74 minutes into the match, but R. Maybury took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Team claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

J. Boulton performed admirably for england. G. Revell on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Team player was without a doubt D. Parker. P. Lawrance was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
