The home crowd was not impressed when J. Fugironakombi came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 50 minutes. Mfc were now up 0 - 4. Mfc had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. The visitors' M. Bruhin took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 52 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Mfc. S. Ribeiro increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 6. Mfc's P. Parant was shown a yellow card after 65 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A drive down the left side allowed S. Ribeiro to get in close and score another goal for Mfc after 69 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 7. E. Noonan tried to get a goal back for sothampton but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. Mfc increased their lead after 81 minutes when R. Aparicio broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. Mfc enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.

Most important sothampton player was P. Thomson. B. Hyde was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Mfc player was without a doubt R. Aparicio. H. Fimland turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
