The home crowd was not impressed when N. Japonês came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 27 minutes. Sveppi were now up 0 - 3. Sveppi's A. Haywood got himself booked for a foul. After 33 minutes Fjordsgade's H. Kristmundsson contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Sveppi increased their lead after 34 minutes when H. Ragnarsson broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. 38 minutes in, Fjordsgade's Í. Ingimundarson received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. Sveppi had most of the ball, with 87 percent of possession.

With 53 minutes played, Sveppi put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Walczak. By now, the players in Sveppi felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. H. Ragnarsson of Sveppi received a yellow card after 58 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 68 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed A. Walczak of Sveppi to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6. That made three goals for A. Walczak and he was marked down for the hat trick. 78 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Fjordsgade's Í. Ingimundarson received his second yellow card and was sent off. P. Hálfdansson received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 79 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The Sveppi fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Sveppi pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. With the scoreboard showing that 88 minutes had been played, Sveppi nearly put themselves up another goal after N. Japonês came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. The pressing tactics used by Sveppi were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Possession in this half belonged to Sveppi, who controlled the ball 90 percent of the time.

Fjordsgade's top performer was clearly N. Brandsson. V. Þorsteinsson was a disappointment, however. Sveppi's best player was A. Haywood. H. Ragnarsson turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
