At the beginning of the game, Foppuh appeared to have already taken this victory to the bank. Foppuh displayed their ability to play creatively. It was a bad day for the usually speedy C. van Gog. The mud seemed to slow him down. After 20 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Kaartfanaat found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. With 26 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by Foppuh's C. van Gog reached D. Kleuters's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 1 - 0. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Foppuh's D. Kleuters increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as J. Oskam broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Foppuh. After this, you could see that the players of Foppuh were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Foppuh claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Kaartfanaat had passable organisation. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. G. Hooyer squirmed through their central defence after 72 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. 77 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as J. Oskam broke through, making the score 6 - 0 for Foppuh. After 88 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Kaartfanaat's E. van Acht being carried off the pitch and replaced by L. Aardewerk. The rain made it hard for players like J. Aercke to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. K. Hodzelmans increased the lead for Foppuh to 7 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! M. Viudes of Foppuh seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 8 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by A. Carbonnier. Foppuh's D. Kleuters saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 89 minutes. Foppuh had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

Most important Foppuh player was J. Oskam. A. Carbonnier was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Kaartfanaat player was without a doubt J. Aercke. W. Bakhuis on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 8 - 0.
