Picasso1 had a chance to take the lead after D. Ubbink's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 5 minutes. Picasso1 created a good opportunity to score 8 minutes into the match when D. Ubbink's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. They were singing the praises of T. Duyzend 22 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Picasso1. After 25 minutes, A. Di Carlofelice put Picasso1 ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Coming from the right, P. Vidas almost managed to score another goal for Picasso1, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Picasso1 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

After a short break after 50 minutes, Picasso1 seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. In an effort to secure the lead, Picasso1 changed their tactic after 50 minutes. After 55 minutes of play, Beppesboys's R. van Osnabrugge unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and J. Gillissen slotted it into the net for 2 - 1. The visitors didn't give in and, after 61 minutes, J. Citroen got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. 65 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Beppesboys substitution. B. Bronsveld came on for D. Casco. Picasso1 took the lead 82 minutes in, as M. de Roo broke through on the left and put the 3 - 2 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 87 minutes, Picasso1 tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. With 88 minutes played, Picasso1 put themselves up 4 - 2 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. de Roo, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The visitors replied 89 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 4 - 3, as R. Sedeniussen dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. Picasso1 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Most important Picasso1 player was T. Duyzend. R. Mondriaan was a disappointment, however. Beppesboys's best player was C. Isendoorn. A. Leuthardt on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 3.
