ifc were relying on their ability to counter-attack. L. Rodinovas could have put Vlampijpse into the lead after 22 minutes, but the free kick went just wide. After 23 minutes of play, A. Cederin gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Vlampijpse were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 25 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by L. Rodinovas. 2 - 0 for the home side. After 30 minutes, É. Pedra put Vlampijpse ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 32 minutes into the game ifc managed a counterattack, but P. Essl-Gruber took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Vlampijpse, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.

The referee showed Vlampijpse's L. Rodinovas the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. B. Bestuzhev of ifc had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. C. Koniuszko came in to finish the match. The home side's N. Haraldsson came close to extending the lead 51 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but A. Enītis managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. ifc almost scored after a counterattack 52 minutes into the match, but J. Borsdorff took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. N. Federici got left behind when Vlampijpse's C. Borkent made a sudden run forward after 55 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 4 - 0! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Vlampijpse lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The home side's L. Rodinovas curled a free kick home after 60 minutes, putting Vlampijpse ahead 5 - 0. With 68 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of ifc resulted in a counterattack that set I. Aschettino free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. S. Eikelenboom increased the lead for Vlampijpse to 6 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Vlampijpse claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

Vlampijpse's top performer was clearly C. Borkent. S. Eikelenboom on the other hand, had a terrible day. J. Freire performed admirably for ifc. P. Essl-Gruber was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
