F. van den Langenberg of WFC fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Vlampijpse were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 16 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by
C. Knap. 2 - 0 for the home side.
Vlampijpse's
N. Haraldsson saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 23 minutes.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Vlampijpse's
S. Eikelenboom increasing the lead to 3 - 0.
By now, the players in Vlampijpse felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.

Possession in this half belonged to Vlampijpse, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.
As the game started to slip away for WFC, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
Vlampijpse put themselves up 4 - 0 when
C. Borkent broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.

A. Garcia made a complete fool of himself when he presented the ball to the feet of
N. Haraldsson who smashed it into the open goal for Vlampijpse. 5 - 0.
With 62 minutes played, Vlampijpse's
S. Gefen almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
With 64 minutes gone,
D. Allema suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by WFC caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring.
The Vlampijpse coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 79 minutes into the game.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Vlampijpse, with 73 percent of the ball.
