It was obvious that the tactic of the day for Lazio was to go for long shots, but in order to score they have to do better than the shooting attempt from H. After 47 minutes Lazio showed some great patience outside the penalty area, waiting until M. van Amstel could find the right opportunity to finish off the attack from distance. The long shot, however, was an easy catch for T. van der Wolf. K. Tarancı could have put his team up another goal 54 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. P. Hygård increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. T. Hiele wanted to play on, but the Club coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 59 minutes into the game by S. Haidmayer. The visitors' P. Hygård took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 71 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Club. Confident in their lead, Club's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 74 minutes, Club's K. Tarancı burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. Some fine movement on the left led to a Club goal after 78 minutes, making it 0 - 5. M. Verijzer was noted down as the scorer. Club enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Lazio's top performer was clearly A. Arcuanto. H. Mevius turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Club player was K. Tarancı. N. Pastorino on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
