Bos could have brought this one home for DeSchenk as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. M. Kretzler stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Hudsons the goal to make it 1 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. DeSchenk claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by R. Calligaro after 47 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. DeSchenk takes the lead, 2 - 1! DeSchenk's J. Silooy increased the lead to 3 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 54 minutes. In the lead, DeSchenk adjusted their style of play with 69 minutes gone. Content with how the game was proceeding, the DeSchenk coach let B. Beeris replace D. Eijer after 75 minutes. R. Calligaro tried using a burst of speed to get past his defender after 77 minutes, but it takes more than that to get past fast F. Heijman. DeSchenk put themselves up 4 - 1 when R. van Kasteel broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. At this point, it was obvious that the players of DeSchenk lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. DeSchenk put in a good effort on the right, but F. Klinkhamer saw his volley fly wide of the mark 87 minutes into the game. The score became 5 - 1 at 87 minutes into the game, when DeSchenk were given a penalty which R. Calligaro blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! That made three goals for R. Calligaro and he was marked down for the hat trick. With 89 minutes played, the Hudsons coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. N. Nieuwenburg came on, S. Helderman had to leave the fray. M. Santos Lima became the new Hudsons captain. The bench was restless, and with 89 minutes passed Hudsons's coach gave A. Haaima the opportunity the player had been hoping for. J. de Kock reluctantly left the field. Hudsons needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 89 minutes R. Lindberg made way for F. Huijberts. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DeSchenk, with 64 percent of the ball.

DeSchenk's top performer was clearly J. Silooy. G. Flinterman was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Hudsons player was without a doubt F. Huijberts. On the other hand, H. Matschek's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 1.
