(390243635)

12-08-2012 20.00
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Johan Cruijff saw a crowd turnout of 29210.
Ludvik Palán was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Özer Öncübey and
Sílvio Zeferino.
Goudvissen started off with a 2-5-3 lineup.
Lineup: van der Schrier - Cullis, Hogendoorn - Joensen, Brugada, Loutsch, Goldbeck, Prudencio - Venturin, Kumutat, Stempel.
A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Leopards.
The following players took the field: Bommel - Branca, Rosenberger, Ruda, Kakuschke, Ilić - Wijker, Aceituno, Kỳ An, Vlček - van der Schier.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 3 minutes, Leopards did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
W. Branca was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1.
H. Wijker of Leopards was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
The corner kick from
M. Ruda was powerfully met by the head of
W. Branca to make the score 0 - 2.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
G. Loutsch from Goudvissen a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 23 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Leopards were forced into a substitution as
H. Wijker couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing
W. Chuan Kum to come in off the bench.
At 35 minutes into the game, Goudvissen's
J. Brugada deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 2.
39 minutes into the match, Goudvissen's
S. Joensen maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 2 - 2.
With 42 minutes gone, Goudvissen had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However,
S. Joensen did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out.
2 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Goudvissen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.
Goudvissen had a good opportunity to take the lead as
G. Venturin came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
D. Bommel.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
P. Hogendoorn, but the Goudvissen player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 3 - 2!
After 85 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
I. Goldbeck gave the Goudvissen supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 2.
G. Loutsch knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Goudvissen player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game.
Goudvissen had most of the ball, with 73 percent of possession.
Most important Goudvissen player was
D. Stempel.
However,
D. Prudencio made a disastrous appearance.
Leopards's top performer was clearly
D. Bommel.
M. Ruda turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 4 - 2.
