Remmen put themselves up 3 - 0 when A. van den Vondel broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. 28 minutes in, Dionysos's G. Stanicki received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The home team's fans were upset when, after 32 minutes, the visiting J. Noseda Pedraglio broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 3 - 1 was the score. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Remmen to 4 - 1 as R. Booi finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Dionysos had to make a substitution after 39 minutes. G. Stanicki limped off the field and was replaced by J. Coremans. It was 5 - 1 at the break. Remmen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

M. van Geffen unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Remmen managed to extend their lead to 6 - 1 when C. Rugină cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. With 83 minutes played, Remmen's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to T. Grøn he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 7 - 1. Remmen had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

Most important Remmen player was K. van Vliet. On the other hand, T. Brenninkmeyer's play was disheartening. A. Rýdl performed admirably for Dionysos. However, J. Coremans made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 1.
