Sporting had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 37 minutes in when J. Boede came up alone against E. Romero who managed a block. Bullsss made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left F. Maurmeir completely alone with keeper T. Lecroq, who made a spectacular block. 42 minutes into the game, T. Tilsiter was a hair's breadth away from giving Sporting the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by E. Romero saved the home team that time. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Sporting enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

50 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Sporting substitution. S. König came on for 彭. 子天 (Zitian). A mistake by the home side's central defence after 70 minutes allowed J. Van Mele to score for Sporting. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. Sporting had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

C. Chittaro performed admirably for Bullsss. F. Maurmeir turned in a dismal performance, however. Sporting's best player was A. Zavatta. However, J. Boede made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 1.
