E. Świderek was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from OS's defence 18 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 0 - 1. After 27 minutes breedte's V. Paleari contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 38 minutes into the match. B. Bosschieter surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. A tussle 41 minutes into the match resulted in a penalty being awarded to the home team and V. Paleari put the ball into the back of the net without any difficulty. That tied the score up at 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. breedte claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

breedte could have put themselves ahead after 49 minutes but K. Toscano missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. breedte's R. Korzilius was shown a yellow card after 53 minutes for slicing down an opponent. B. Schwertzell received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 54 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. breedte took the lead 55 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by V. Paleari that made the score 2 - 1. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Cãlinescu from breedte a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 66 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 67 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and G. Clausi gave the breedte supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by breedte, with 68 percent of the ball.

W. Noboa performed admirably for breedte. G. Clausi turned in a dismal performance, however. OS's best player was J. Vrede. On the other hand, I. Zeijlemaker's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
