Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and damdam saw a crowd turnout of 30201. Uwe Mehrlich was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Júlio César Ilha and Régis Veillet. DM1990 were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The guests almost went up by a goal after 43 minutes when K. Furjan came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. It was 0 - 0 at the break. DM1990 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

D. Rangel's speed was clear to see after 49 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released J. Huusmann who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 1. After 68 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Ekbrant a chance to increase the lead for MFC, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. DM1990 had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DM1990, with 65 percent of the ball.

DM1990's top performer was clearly R. Moltu. However, C. Jagtenberg made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating MFC player was without a doubt J. Huusmann. K. Furjan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
