It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 21084 that came out to Huibie Manu Arena. Feskens almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. huibie's A. Feskens saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 35 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave P. Podolský from huibie a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 36 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Avendaño of Berenbende was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. E. Nagel tied the game at 1 - 1 after 38 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. With 39 minutes gone, huibie's P. Podolský had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. 40 minutes into the game, M. Righi had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came J. Kolkman. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to huibie, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

M. Woudenberg found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. With 50 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as M. Bartram flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. J. Kolkman unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. huibie's A. Gradić was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. V. Mirković increased the lead for huibie to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The visitors' right side was dangerous today; M. Woudenberg made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 2 75 minutes into the match. Berenbende's M. Woudenberg got himself booked for a foul. Coming through the middle M. Bloemen almost scored the equaliser for Berenbende after 78 minutes, but K. Obara made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by huibie, with 56 percent of the ball.

huibie's best player was A. Feskens. K. Obara was a disappointment, however. Berenbende's top performer was clearly B. Castrelo do Val. T. Husseiny turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
