(390321025)

12-08-2012 21.00
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 19287 had shown up at
Stadion Oosterpark for the match.
Stipe Rak was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jan Wickling and
João Álamo.
Forza decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
They fielded: Boldrini - Brzęczek, Luebbe, van der Branden - Van Der Borght, Boterhoek, bin Mohammad, Alecu, Bušek - Aronds, van Eijsden.
Swazi tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Vered - Guerguetiain, Grkinić, Decraecker - van Hulst, Grzelak, Groenewoud, Cockayne, Darwish - van der Pligt, Lode.
Forza used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
Forza fans held their breath as
V. Bušek scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0!
12 minutes in, Forza's
R. Boterhoek received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
R. van Hulst was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Swazi's
S. Kuil had to come off the bench.
M. bin Mohammad should probably have put his team up another goal after 33 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
A. Vered kept the visitors in the game.
After 37 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
R. Boterhoek might have resulted in another goal for Forza. However,
A. Vered made a spectacular save.
The visitors didn't give in and, after 39 minutes,
B. Lode got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1.
Halftime score was 1 - 1.
Swazi had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
Some great play up the middle by Forza led to a chance for
R. Brzęczek to score after 61 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
67 minutes into the game,
E. van der Pligt was a hair's breadth away from giving Swazi the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by
T. Boldrini saved the home team that time.
Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Forza, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity.
After 71 minutes, the defensive line of Forza created a counterattack through the middle that gave
A. Aronds a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
Swazi enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.
Most important Forza player was
A. Aronds.
T. Boldrini turned in a dismal performance, however.
The most dominating Swazi player was without a doubt
A. Cockayne.
S. Kuil was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 1 - 1.
