Olympia 0 - 6 TBFTLC (390331285)

Dark skies made the crowd of 32996 at Olympia Stadion a little nervous, but the rain held off. Yordan Sheyretov was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Teodoro Manzoni and Antonios Tsampaos. Olympia had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Jyrkkärinne - Pedersen, Federle, Barbotin, Ollinger - Fassa, Oškera, Csáki, Gómez - Yalkız, Ferreira.

TBFTLC started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. They fielded: Tamayo - Krčmář, Lindenthaler, Gumucio - Mejer, Wagemans, Lewkowicz, Kereki - Marčiulynas, Viale, Faggio.

TBFTLC clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Olympia's D. Gómez seemed to stun everyone on the field with an accurate shot that seemed to come from nowhere. Somehow, the keeper managed to keep his cool and made a fantastic save. The visiting J. Marčiulynas was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 15 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Olympia, but A. Yalkız's shot went over the bar. TBFTLC showed their counterattack skill 40 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with P. Lindenthaler scoring uncontested for 0 - 2. After this, you could see that the players of TBFTLC were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 42 minutes into the match, putting TBFTLC ahead 0 - 3. D. Viale was the scorer. TBFTLC's D. Viale got himself booked for a foul. P. Kereki showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for TBFTLC after 44 minutes to make the score 0 - 4. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Olympia enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

With 58 minutes played, P. Kereki of TBFTLC fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 67 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave P. Kereki a chance to increase the lead for TBFTLC, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. The referee signalled a penalty 72 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. D. Viale knocked it home to make the score 0 - 6. Olympia had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Most important Olympia player was A. Yalkız. I. Ollinger turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating TBFTLC player was without a doubt D. Viale. G. Mejer on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 6.
