Jort Teunissen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Eime Wijna and
Hagen Schmoll-Hahn.
Talents started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Starters: Šimíček - Rook, Defraeye, Venneker - Lenferink, Ramwald, Vaic, Huijdts, Anninga - Kempers, Terol.
Zlatan decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.

Talents mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
Zlatan clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
With 11 minutes played,
J. Anninga of Talents fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Zlatan were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
After 12 minutes, Zlatan's
T. Vickberg made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
The referee showed Zlatan's
J. Bulbuc the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
19 minutes into the match,
S. Van Overbeke came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
After 20 minutes of game time,
L. Knutsson had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
O. Šimíček was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
It was obvious that team Talents had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
Talents had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks.

Zlatan had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
M. Gennaro was, after 52 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper
O. Šimíček made the save.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 69 minute mark, Talents's
J. Terol hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
76 minutes into the game, Zlatan worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch.
L. Knutsson hit the ball perfectly after 79 minutes to score for Zlatan with a fabulous long shot. 0 - 2.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Zlatan lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Possession in this half belonged to Zlatan, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
Talents's top performer was clearly
J. Anninga.
On the other hand,
W. Venneker's play was disheartening.
Zlatan's best player was
E. Aandewiel.
However,
T. Vickberg made a disastrous appearance.
