Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 25964 at 't Spui today. Håkan Mellhult was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jens Söderberg and Javier Eduardo Grabarnik. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Stormvogels. They fielded: Hoffmann - Adriaanse, Anilauskas, Markov - Khramczankou, Borggard, Grenbratt, Nogarola, da Silva - Brastad, Vachev.

Mullers started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Nederveld - Azin, Puerto, Grafhorst - Povill, de la Fuente, Ryan, Abdulaeu, Watzinger - Uixera, van Hamersveld.

Stormvogels tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Mullers saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Stormvogels had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. It was obvious that Mullers had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Stormvogels had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

Stormvogels's R. Khramczankou was shown a yellow card after 54 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Unfortunately for Mullers, A. Ryan was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. W. Dobrzański replaced him. R. Grenbratt almost put Stormvogels ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. The referee showed Stormvogels's P. Adriaanse the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. L. Grafhorst of Mullers had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. G. Doven came in to finish the match. N. da Silva's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert J. Brastad was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Stormvogels. 2 - 0. The score became 3 - 0 at 74 minutes into the game, when Stormvogels were given a penalty which R. Grenbratt blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! After this, you could see that the players of Stormvogels were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. A. Anilauskas squirmed through their central defence after 82 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Stormvogels, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Most important Stormvogels player was J. Brastad. N. da Silva turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Mullers player was without a doubt B. Azin. M. Nederveld on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
