Ganzevoort used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. After 14 minutes of play, 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. After 25 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after E. Decheiver made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) , but the Ocean player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! Ganzevoort's A. Bodurov was shown a yellow card after 27 minutes for slicing down an opponent. M. Yousuf increased the lead for Ocean to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Ocean put themselves up 4 - 1 when A. Lizárraga broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Confident in their lead, Ocean's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 4 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Ocean, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Ocean's D. Juhana increased the lead to 5 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 49 minutes. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. D. Juhana squirmed through their central defence after 61 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 1. After 72 minutes, Ocean's 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 7 - 1. By then 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) had scored three goals - a hat trick! 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) should probably have put his team up another goal after 73 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by O. van Dijke kept the visitors in the game. After 75 minutes, Ocean's M. Nigl fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! With 76 minutes played, W. Nideggen had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. The counterattacks of Ocean were deadly and 77 minutes into the game, R. Elderson received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 8 - 1. Ocean had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Ocean's top performer was clearly M. Yousuf. F. Ambrosi turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Ganzevoort player was without a doubt C. Scalvini. However, O. van Dijke made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 8 - 1.
