Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 29235 to Sclessin. Eise Decheiver was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Raul Sacramento and Lucio Rescio. Ocean started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Ambrosi - Meyer, Nigl, Pujol - Glathe, Elderson, Ahlmann, Lizárraga, Herget - Yousuf, 楠兴 (Nanxing).

JH7 had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Gagnant - Rashev, Belinelli, Neimarević - Deen, Siggaard, Caldén, van der Klaauw, Ulikowski - van Schaaik, Savinainen.

Some great play up the middle by Ocean led to a chance for A. Lizárraga to score after 12 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Ocean took the lead 15 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as M. Nigl elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. O. Meyer of Ocean received a yellow card after 19 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 20 minutes played, Ocean put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to A. Lizárraga, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Ocean's M. Yousuf got himself booked for a foul. Ocean increased the lead as 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ocean lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The crowd roared its approval when F. Ambrosi somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by JH7's L. van Schaaik 26 minutes into the game. With 27 minutes played, E. Glathe of Ocean fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 30 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as O. Meyer broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Ocean. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Ocean, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

Ocean's M. Yousuf increased the lead to 5 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 65 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. van der Klaauw from JH7 a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! M. Nigl of Ocean had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. A. Vuorenpää came in to finish the match. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. 陶. 楠兴 (Nanxing) squirmed through their central defence after 71 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0. M. Yousuf should probably have put his team up another goal after 73 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by C. Gagnant kept the visitors in the game. After 75 minutes, JH7 sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached E. Ulikowski, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 6 - 1. Ocean claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

Ocean's top performer was clearly M. Yousuf. A. Vuorenpää was a disappointment, however. Most important JH7 player was L. van Schaaik. On the other hand, C. Gagnant's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 1.
