Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2109 to Sems boys Arena. Teije Ooievaar was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tommy Malmerberg and Raimondo Varela. For their match strategy, Mokkachinos had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. V. Broekhuizen's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert A. Schenkel was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Mokkachinos. 0 - 1. The counterattacks of Mokkachinos were deadly and 17 minutes into the game, V. Broekhuizen received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 0 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Elbers from Sems a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 18 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 25 minutes played, V. Broekhuizen of Mokkachinos fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A. Zahran was, after 35 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper P. Stupar made the save. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Mokkachinos enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

A well placed corner kick from A. Zahran was followed by C. Zobel's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Mokkachinos, the score now 0 - 3. After 64 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave W. Kwanten a chance to increase the lead for Mokkachinos, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Mokkachinos were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. J. van Gennep of Mokkachinos was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The referee showed Sems's M. Verschoor the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The player down was J. Zanderink. The Mokkachinos bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. A. Schenkel increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. P. Plevier seemed to be huffing and puffing 85 minutes into the match. G. Valke of Mokkachinos took advantage of his obvious fatigue to chip in past the keeper. 0 - 6 Sems's R. Vinkenoog was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 86 minutes. Mokkachinos increased their lead after 87 minutes when R. van Polanen broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Mokkachinos, with 60 percent of the ball.

M. Verschoor performed admirably for Sems. P. Stupar on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Mokkachinos player was G. Valke. On the other hand, J. Zanderink's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 7.
