Euler somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Sublimos's J. Mak 39 minutes into the game. In the lead, vv.Woudrichem adjusted their style of play with 40 minutes gone. B. Ardiles increased vv.Woudrichem's lead to 4 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. It was 4 - 0 at the break. vv.Woudrichem had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.

vv.Woudrichem increased the lead as T. Garra struck to make the score 5 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The players of vv.Woudrichem now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. vv.Woudrichem's A. Pettersson had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 76 minutes having been played. R. Rutten was the replacement. Wezeman's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert T. Garra was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for vv.Woudrichem. 8 - 0. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for T. Garra. vv.Woudrichem claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 90 percent.

vv.Woudrichem's best player was F. Blaakmeer. W. Euler on the other hand, had a terrible day. Sublimos's top performer was clearly A. El-Fassi. T. van Heerden turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
