Clouds darkened the skies at Regenton as 11469 spectators turned up for the match. Walter Kropff was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Henrik Killborn and Alvaro Doncel Luengo. Nintendogeneratie tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Hollanders gave Nintendogeneratie the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Nintendogeneratie were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 7 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by K. Bouley. 2 - 0 for the home side. After this, you could see that the players of Nintendogeneratie were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 37 minutes Panzys's R. Rusch limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The score became 3 - 0 at 38 minutes into the game, when Nintendogeneratie were given a penalty which K. Bouley blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! With 39 minutes played, Nintendogeneratie's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to F. Woidtke he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 4 - 0. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Nintendogeneratie had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

L. Leuven had a fantastic opportunity to put Nintendogeneratie up another goal 59 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Cheers filled the stadium as G. Hollanders broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to Nintendogeneratie. Nintendogeneratie put in a good effort on the right, but K. Bouley saw his volley fly wide of the mark 61 minutes into the game. Panzys's R. Rusch was shown a yellow card after 65 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Coming from the right, L. Leuven almost managed to score another goal for Nintendogeneratie, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. After 81 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and G. Hollanders gave the Nintendogeneratie supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 0. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Hollanders. Possession in this half belonged to Nintendogeneratie, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.

Nintendogeneratie's top performer was clearly H. Timmerman. W. Linssen turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Panzys player was A. Bredewout. On the other hand, B. van Osnabrugge's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 0.
