Due to an all-day shower, 9365 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Nazdrovia Arena. Nazdrovia were able to mount several counterattacks, such as the impressive one after 36 minutes, but T. Sonneveld lofted a free kick over the crossbar. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Nazdrovia had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

Things were deteriorating for the away team as Nazdrovia scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for T. Sonneveld after 62 minutes. R. Kalker slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. The referee showed Fc.BOZ's Q. Cluistra the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Nazdrovia's H. Koolmoes left the field after 87 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was D. Lenders. Nazdrovia's W. Wiegersma saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 88 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Nazdrovia, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

W. Wiegersma performed admirably for Nazdrovia. J. Gilsing turned in a dismal performance, however. Fc.BOZ's top performer was clearly S. Hadders. R. Kalker on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 0.
