C. Lelieveld after 11 minutes following a nasty collision.

A. Holst coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead.
Heineken's
H. Simons scored to make the score 1 - 1 after 14 minutes by shooting accurately and hard from a long distance, leaving the opponent keeper no other option than to pick the ball out of the net.
41 minutes into the game,
I. Verhoef had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
M. van der Heide of kcvo received a yellow card after 42 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Given a free kick in a difficult position after 43 minutes, Heineken tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1.
kcvo had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.
K. Beeris wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat.
S. van Witsen earned a rousing chorus of cheers from his fans as he seemed to come out of nowhere after 59 minutes to intercept the ball and put it in the back of the net for Heineken. 1 - 2.
With 65 minutes played, kcvo's
R. Gouwerok found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper.
N. Vastbinder of kcvo got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game.
With the clock showing 73 minutes played,
A. Holst equalised for kcvo after curling a free kick around the defensive wall to make the score 2 - 2.
77 minutes into the match, the speedy
M. van der Heide easily outpaced
S. Silder, chipped the keeper and made the score 3 - 2.
78 minutes into the game Heineken's
A. Spronsen found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 3 - 3.

K. Bokken performed admirably for kcvo.
