Clouds darkened the skies at Dreams of Noortuk as 12000 spectators turned up for the match. Emmanuel Ledent was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mika C. Blomberg and Renars Vulfs. D. Cuijpers's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 12 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to J. Hoonakker who knocked it in for Noortuk. 1 - 0! J. Hoonakker increased the lead for Noortuk to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After 17 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Hoonakker gave the Noortuk supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. This third goal completed a hattrick for J. Hoonakker. 18 minutes in, Noortuk's D. Cuijpers received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 21 minutes into the match, winup replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 1. V. Rothengatter scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. The score became 4 - 1 at 24 minutes into the game, when Noortuk were given a penalty which J. Plageman blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! winup fought on and, after 35 minutes, V. Rothengatter was able to reduce the deficit to 4 - 2 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. 38 minutes into the game, Noortuk were awarded a penalty that J. Plageman turned into 5 - 2 without a problem. 5 - 2 was the halftime score. Noortuk had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

Noortuk were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 47 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by J. Plageman. 6 - 2 for the home side. At that, J. Plageman was noted down for a hat trick! N. Emmens should probably have put his team up another goal after 50 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by K. van den Ham kept the visitors in the game. C. Hellemans knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 6 - 3 after 51 minutes. Noortuk's N. Emmens increased the lead to 7 - 3, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 55 minutes. F. van Oosten had a fantastic opportunity to put Noortuk up another goal 62 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Possession in this half belonged to Noortuk, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

Noortuk's top performer was clearly J. Hoonakker. However, F. van Oosten made a disastrous appearance. V. van Berkel performed admirably for winup. J. van Diemen on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 7 - 3.
