Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 50960 at James Park today. Henderson wanted to play on, but the St.James coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by J. Stephens. St.James's D. Lara increased the lead to 9 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 60 minutes. K. Bayley left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 65 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. T. Neysmith was the replacement. St.James increased the lead as J. Stephens struck to make the score 10 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. St.James put themselves up 11 - 0 when T. Neysmith broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. St.James claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

St.James's best player was R. Heerink. On the other hand, J. Julien's play was disheartening. Most important Barbadew player was S. Levy. C. Mason turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 11 - 0.
