15-07-2012 22.00
A scorching day at
La Casita, where 34000 spectators were in place for today's match.
Peter Quasdorf was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Magnus Oskarsson and
Juan Riera.
All of
Santa Fe was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
Familia tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Frisenda - Ruiz Gavero, Skaidiņš - Alvarado de Schroeder, Baya, Esteba, Ender, van Turenhout - Budts, Nangeroni, Brown.
Bielsas started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
Starters: Tronconi - Zanazzi, Pype, Terjék, Arango - Fleutjepiepen, Enrici, Recalde, Schanz - Camacho, Zeppegno.
Bielsas decided to play creatively.
E. Brown gave Familia the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0
12 minutes in, Bielsas's
S. Recalde received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Familia scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
J. Budts after 16 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of Familia were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
J. Budts of Familia was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
O. Skaidiņš struck a 30 metre free kick home 22 minutes into the match. 3 - 0 for the home team.
Ater 23 minutes
A. Zeppegno seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Bielsas making it 3 - 1.
S. Nangeroni enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1.
Familia enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
The Familia players could smell victory in the air.
O. Skaidiņš wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
T. Borsci after 60 minutes.
Cheers filled the stadium as
J. Budts broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Familia.
The bench was restless, and with 63 minutes passed Bielsas's coach gave
J. De Castro the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
U. Schanz reluctantly left the field.
Bielsas managed to reduce the score to 4 - 2 as
V. Enrici finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence.
The coach of Familia was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 65 minutes,
E. Chamot came on for
P. Ruiz Gavero.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
T. Borsci took over the role of being the Familia captain.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Familia coach let
S. Giannotti replace
M. van Turenhout after 70 minutes.
71 minutes into the game, Bielsas had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
weak.
The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs
L. Pype found it hard to get back into position.
Familia's
E. Brown swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Familia, with 70 percent of the ball.
Familia's top performer was clearly
J. Budts.
However,
T. Frisenda made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating Bielsas player was without a doubt
W. Camacho.
L. Pype was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 4 - 2.
