The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but Q. Fuhrmann showed great heart and had a good game. Metalium took the lead 12 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as E. Näf elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. 24 minutes in, Lord rafa appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. Metalium put themselves up 2 - 0 when E. Näf broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. 32 minutes into the game, Lord rafa seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. Metalium increased the lead as R. Jirát struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. 37 minutes into the game, Metalium were awarded a penalty that P. Rojnić turned into 4 - 0 without a problem. The players of Metalium now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 38 minutes in, Lord rafa's M. Enciso received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. D. Jalink of Metalium had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. N. Abramo came in to finish the match. 40 minutes into the game, Lord rafa seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. P. Sajewski was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. Metalium had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. With 43 minutes played, M. Mårtensson could have brought this one home for Metalium as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After 43 minutes Lord rafa's V. Floris limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Metalium claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Lord rafa was able to get his message across, and raised Lord rafa's organisation to passable. E. Näf had a fantastic opportunity to put Metalium up another goal 53 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. With 64 minutes played, R. Jirát of Metalium fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. It was a bad day for the usually speedy G. Pennrich. The mud seemed to slow him down. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Metalium, with 52 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Metalium player was without a doubt R. Jirát. N. Abramo on the other hand, had a terrible day. Lord rafa's best player was M. Enciso. E. Esponda turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
