Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for PTPFT. K. Jurczyk dispatched a majestic long shot 2 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. M. Lanzetti's lack of experience almost gave PTPFT a goal after 19 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. With 29 minutes showing on the scoreboard, ANGELAO" had a chance to take the lead after being awarded a penalty, but G. Ros's shot was blocked by V. Josefsson. Given a free kick close to the byline, PTPFT tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let J. Kajander slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 1, 30 minutes into the game. Halftime score was 0 - 1. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

No matter how hard he tried, I. Angelov just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 59 minutes. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Vanderperre got himself booked. The manager of ANGELAO" was not happy. G. Picchianti was, after 65 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper V. Bazdukas made the save. After 71 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave K. Sunesson a chance to increase the lead for PTPFT, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. PTPFT had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 82 minutes, but G. Picchianti's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. J. Kajander caught everyone by surprise with a unexpected volley after 83 minutes. K. Jurczyk was perfectly placed to take advantage of the play, but unfortunately, he was as surprised as anyone and couldn't finish for PTPFT. ANGELAO" enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

I. Angelov performed admirably for ANGELAO". On the other hand, J. Russo's play was disheartening. Most important PTPFT player was K. Sunesson. H. Nickel turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
