Due to an all-day shower, 18558 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at
Huemul FC Arena.
Cristián Zavaleta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gregório Aracuri and
Anders Jonasson.

C.A.P.O. had to make a substitution after 15 minutes.
H. Palermo limped off the field and was replaced by
R. Costas.
The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit
L. Eland just fine.
At 28 minutes played,
O. Chernavin came in from the right with the intention of giving Huemul the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
Huemul took the lead 29 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as

Huemul's
F. Andronegui saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 34 minutes.
It was obvious that C.A.P.O. had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as C.A.P.O.'s
R. Costas put the ball in the onion bag after 39 minutes to make it 1 - 1.
1 - 1 was the halftime score.
C.A.P.O. claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

S. Mutsch on the pitch.

S. Grife a quick hug as he left the field.
74 minutes in, C.A.P.O.'s
A. Sanfilippo received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
L. Nader, but the Huemul player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1!
A. Carreras left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
H. Guyot was the replacement.

P. Ciappesoni. 2 - 2.
F. Ceriello would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
M. Poussier entered the game for Huemul as the match clock showed 86 minutes.
C.A.P.O. were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings.
87 minutes into the game,
A. Sanfilippo had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
Huemul created a good opportunity to score 87 minutes into the match when
H. Guyot's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball.
C.A.P.O. had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.
Huemul's best player was
O. Chernavin.
H. Guyot on the other hand, had a terrible day.
C.A.P.O.'s top performer was clearly
Y. Shin.
D. Tironi was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
