Things were going to get worse for the visitors. M. Figueroa squirmed through their central defence after 26 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Coming in from the right, Equipo had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 32 minutes, but V. Zhurin's attempt to finish was easily stopped. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Equipo, with 51 percent of the ball.

The Zuripanta players could smell victory in the air. M. Montesarín wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for W. Bedla after 56 minutes. Zuripanta's W. Bedla got himself booked for a foul. After 65 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by R. Morup-Jensen might have resulted in another goal for Zuripanta. However, M. Bračun made a spectacular save. A. Santa Cruz could have increased the lead after 71 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 77 minutes, C. Baldessarini put Zuripanta ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The Zuripanta coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 77 minutes into the game. Possession in this half belonged to Zuripanta, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

The most dominating Zuripanta player was without a doubt M. Borges. M. Figueroa turned in a dismal performance, however. Equipo's top performer was clearly A. Di Lonardo. M. Bračun was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
