Quilmes_Duff 1 - 4 Cabello
(390919448)

22-07-2012 22.30
11444 spectators had come to
Iris Hell this cloudy day.
Ole Falk was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Simon Claesson and
Simon Roland Olsen.
All of
Provincia de Buenos Aires was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Quilmes_Duff.
They fielded: Torres Ochoa - Loubère, Bonde, Marcucci, Sevilla - Maj, Budkovskiy, Toledo, Graanstra - Cosaro, Puuska.
Cabello had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
Lineup: Maestroni - van Duin, Mardari, Vincenti, Burela - Famiani, Lepore, Dahlström, Smelteris - Hochdorf, Montes.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Cabello's
M. Famiani somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
R. Hochdorf, who struck for 0 - 1.
24 minutes into the match,
E. Montes came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
With 25 minutes having been played, Quilmes_Duff scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but
O. Bonde was marked down as the scorer.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 27 minutes into the match left Cabello's
A. Smelteris completely free to score. 1 - 2 for the visitors.
After 29 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Quilmes_Duff's
R. Puuska being carried off the pitch and replaced by
J. Santamarina.
The home crowd cheered when, after 30 minutes,
A. Smelteris's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.
After 39 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
E. Montes to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3.
After 40 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
H. Burela who increased Cabello's lead to 1 - 4.
The players of Cabello now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
1 - 4 was the halftime score.
Possession in this half belonged to Cabello, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
L. Maj from Quilmes_Duff a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 53 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
R. Hochdorf of Cabello had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.
D. Garcia came in to finish the match.
Cabello enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
The most dominating Quilmes_Duff player was without a doubt
O. Cosaro.
L. Maj turned in a dismal performance, however.
Cabello's top performer was clearly
A. Vincenti.
However,
D. Garcia made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 1 - 4.
