Dydek was, after 62 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper B. Diodati made the save. The referee showed Inspection's Y. Käufeler the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Furrions's N. Capellino went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Inspection claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Most important Furrions player was N. Capellino. B. Diodati turned in a dismal performance, however. T. Andersson performed admirably for Inspection. S. Morrow on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 3.
